Alkmaar Evangelism and Prayer

Open Air Workgroup

Approximately once a month a group of people go into the Alkmaar centrum with a bakfiets (bike with a box unit mounted on it) Their goal? Evangelism. They use rebus puzzles and other attention getters to enter into conversations with passersby. In 2012 the dates are as follows: 7 April, 21 April, 5 and 19 May, 2, 16 and 30 June, 14 July  and then 25 August and 8 and 22 September. Participants will gather at the CityLights church (previously the PGA) at Helderseweg 32 in Alkmaar at 11.00 and bike into the city at 11.30.

Prayer Station

Prayer Station consists of two groups of pray-ers. Teams of two approach people on the street with the question 'May I pray for you?' There is also a second team that stays behind at the meeting place to support the street teams with prayer. Want to be a part? Prayer Station takes place the last Saturday of the month. We gather at 10:45 at 'De Steiger', Luttik Oudorp 93, in Alkmaar

Every month a prayer gathering is held to pray for Alkmaar.  It is wonderful to be able to pray together with brothers and sisters from various churches for our city.
