The Friendship Evangelical Church Alkmaar (EKV) is an evangelical, christian church for people in Alkmaar, Heerhugowaard and the surrounding regions. It is incredible to see how God changes people’s lives!

We believe that God loves you and that He has a wonderful plan for your life. We welcome the opportunity to help you get to know Him and His plan for your life better.

It begins with getting to know God through His Son, Jesus Christ. Once your life is safe in His hands, God will help you to discover and fulfill the role He has for you.

Via this website we want to give you a glimpse at the life and ministry of the Friendship Evangelical Church. We are a Christian church in Alkmaar with people who want to learn to know God better and to make Him known to others.

In our Sunday morning services that are held in the Mare Nostrum in Alkmaar, and in week night meetings in the homes of church members, we experience again and again how good it is to live with God and to serve Him.

Together with believers from other churches we are striving to bring North Holland and the world into contact with Jesus Christ. We live in an incredible time in which the church is growing quickly  worldwide. It is our prayer that people in the Netherlands will also discover that a relationship with Jesus Christ gives their life meaning and fulfillment.

It is our conviction that a life with God is the best life that you can imagine. It is practical, relevant and exciting. We pray that God will reveal Himself to you and that you will get to know Him better.
